Fans of HBO's Game of Thrones are in for a thrill with the Game of Thrones Studio Tour. The attraction is based at Linen Mills Studios in the Irish countryside between Dublin and Belfast.
Step behind the scenes and see the artistry and craftsmanship that goes into making the original sets. See a collection of costume props and costumes from the show that aired from 2011-2019.
Discover how the world of Westeros was brought to the screen. From the first scripts and design through to production and filming. See the sets used for Castle Black and Winterfell, the House Targaryen, and the mysteries of Dragonstone.
A dream for fans of the show will be to enter Winterfell Great Hall, stand on the flagstones, and sense the awesomeness of this iconic Game of Thrones set. You will also see the Night’s Watch headquarters at Castle Black, the military order whose task it is to hold the Wall!
The Hall of Faces has been magically recreated, which will bring a tingle down your spine!
Visual Effects
Game of Thrones wouldn’t have been the same without the incredible visual effects used to bring to life many of the most epic battles and scenes. During the Studio Tour, you will have the chance to learn more about fire-breathing dragons and the mindblowing stunts that brought the show to life.
Green screens helped create many incredible scenes in the making of the show. You will have your chance to test your acting skills, with an interactive screen experience!
See the impressive armory and the craftsmen that brought these battle items to life, as well as unique props such as dragon eggs and drinking horns. Jon Snow’s winter furs will also be one of the many costumes on display.
There is also the opportunity to eat at the studio-based restaurant and purchase official merchandise. The Game of Thrones Studio Tour lasts approx 3 hours.

Arrive on time: We recommend that you arrive at the Studio at least 15 minutes before your entry time. For more information, please visit the Getting To Us section of our website.
When you arrive: Please have your e-ticket(s) ready to be scanned before you board the coach. See separate email.
Failure to arrive on time: Should you fail to arrive on time, admission will not be permitted.
Baggage search: Baggage searches may be conducted at The Studio Tour entrance. Refusal to permit your baggage to be searched will result in admission being refused. All bags are restricted to A3 size (29.7cm x 42cm), this is for your comfort and safety throughout the tour. Please ensure you don't leave any valuables or belongings on the coach during your visit.
Re-admission: Re-admission is not permitted once you have completed your tour and exited the building.
Ticket Validity / Expiry: Your ticket is only valid for the time and date above and on the e-ticket sent to you separately.
Amending your Visit Date or Set Entry Time: Amendments to your booking can only be made via our Visitor Services Team by calling +44 (0) 284 033 6644 or email tickets@gameofthronesstudiotour.com. A £5 charge will apply for this service.
Refunds, Transferability, Alterations: Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and void if defaced or altered.
Food and/or Beverage: No food or drink can be brought into The Studio Tour. Catering facilities are available on-site.
Animals: No animals can be brought into The Studio Tour, other than active assistance dogs which must always be kept on a lead.
Behaviour: When visiting The Studio Tour, you agree to abide by the Law, to respect the rights and entitlements of The Studio Tour staff and employees, other visitors to the site and other visitors to The Studio Tour.
